Standing Indian Shelter. Appalachian Trail. Macon, NC

Standing Indian shelter located in Macon, North Carolina. I came at this at many different approaches. I wanted to have a symbolic meaning behind it and I was thinking of different things that indians had a relation with. Like totem poles, arrow heads, and feathers. But I researched and feathers symbolize the highest, bravest, strongest and holiest. And are also given to one another in honor.

I wanted the text itself to be aligned with the point of the feather and the base of it.  The reason why I did all these all colors together because they have meaning behind it the Native American culture. Yellow means knowledge and learning and is also the color of spring. Blue immortality, bravery, and determination. Orange, Kinship, Intellect and Determination. Red, Life, Faith and Happiness.
